Freepoint Energy Solutions is the new retail energy supply subsidiary of Freepoint Commodities, one of the most experienced and respected names in the commodities and energy industry. Specializing as a merchant of physical commodities and as a financer of upper and mid-stream commodity assets, Freepoint Commodities has grown to over 370 employees worldwide since its inception in 2011. Its financial resources include a $2.1 billion credit facility. Freepoint Commodities is majority owned by private equity funds managed by Stone Point Capital, a fund manager that has raised more than $13 billion for investment.

As a subsidiary of Freepoint Commodities, Freepoint Energy Solutions is uniquely positioned to offer the resources and expertise of a global commodities merchant with the flexibility and responsiveness of a start-up. This enables us to provide competitively-priced energy services to commercial and industrial end-use customers. Where We Operate

Freepoint Energy Solutions will serve all deregulated power markets in the United States. We are launching in PJM starting with Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. We are currently phasing in our entrance into other deregulated markets, including the remainder of PJM, ERCOT, NYISO, and ISO-NE over the next 12 months.
